if you want to stay in Miami itself, visit Biscayne Bay/Downtown Miami
If feeling adventurous, visit South Beach. That is:
* visit South Beach (avoid camera stores -- TT)
* visit the beach itself (avoid restaurants on Ocean drive -- TT)
* visit Lincoln Road (street mall). Nexxt is a cool restaurant
* Nightclubs galore, I can make a post just on those if interested, but I'm not actively involved in the scene to specify what day is best for which club. Just walking on Washington and club watching is fun too. Just know it's a real party street at night with occasional ladies of the night, dealers of stuff, beggars and other street folks.
