And how do you feel about having a reactor in your back yard? Not only is there a risk of a chernobyl type accident, it also becomes a target for every terrorist you can think of.

And dont quote Three Mile Island at me in answer either, because that is also an accident that happened. And you have no idea how lucky you are that it didnt get any worse.

The of course there is the little issue of Federalism - Canberra does not tell the states what to do in their own back yards. A small thing that Howard is trying his best to destroy on several fronts.
