in a couple of museums in Montana now. That was one of the areas he homesteaded in - there were a couple of others due to different droughts. But that's the one my great-grandfather grew up in, and my grandmother was born in. Almost every area has local museums interested in local history that are desperate for almost any photographs taken in the area. If you go this route, keep notes on where the photos have gone to. You never know what direction Molly or Molly+generation might take an interest in.
