you may want to get them scanned in, and dumped to CD/DVD, and then catalog them somehow (ie, subject, time, etc). There could be any number of places that might be interested: art galleries, news sources (lookingn for stock photos), museums, if he got a lot of historical pics, etc. Unfortunately, I can't think of any other than places that may be looking for clip-art type cd's of pics that would be interested in "just pictures in general".
