my linux dilemma update by thethinman 2006-11-20 16:59:38
i posted the other day about a wireless problem i was having, then today i posted about a partition problem. well just thought i'd update. i got the drive partitioned, though it wiped the windows partition. so i got both windows reloaded (it prolly needed to be formatted anyways) and got ubuntu loaded in. thank god this is on my second laptop. though ubuntu says it has drivers for my wireless modem, it is refusing to recoginise it. grrrr. between this and some personal problems i have a splitting headache and i am giving up for the night. will tackle it again tomorrow. i might be posting for more help tomorrow.

and on a side note, thanks to the clutter squad. been here a long while and it is the first clutter i have ever gotten. brought a smile to my face. thanks all
