Renovations day 10: Didn't need that fingernail by toxin 2006-11-20 14:48:50
anyways. Self-surgery with a red-hot paper clip did work, though.

Wallboard is up. Still waiting on the courier package with the electrical parts. No plumber on the near horizon. We have one area of wallboard remaining to go up, where the main electrical and plumbing connections will go.

We are out of milk and bread, with the stores empty due to a semi-blizzard. Dinner will be nuker food again. No stove hooked in yet.

Now we need to re-do the floor. Took out the old flooring - needed and expected, new flooring is ready for installation. The sub-floor plywood is in bad shape. So. Tomorrow, I buy plywood and start to install it. Helen is back to work tonight, so I can not do major installation in the morning. I go back to work on Wednesday, meaning that the pace of work [rivalled by the progress of the average aquatic snail traversing the Gobi Desert] will get slower. At this rate, we might be ready for the cabinets by the time the plumbers are ready.
