You (as a nation) went to Iraq on the flimsy excuse that they had nukes. It's been proven they don't and didn't. The justification that you removed Saddam from power is irrelevant. It was not your goal in the first place, and does not justify you going in the first place. "The best defence is a good offence" doesn't stand up in court. If you attack someone (regardless of their intentions) it is assault. If you kill them, it is murder. Why should there be one law inside a country and not when it's on a larger scale? If the US did use this "best defence is a good offence", why should the politicians be charged with something similar?
