Direct paychecks and bills, paying for stuff with the card, is very nice.
I actually go through very little cash most of the time. And I write exactly 1 check a month.
Never had a problem with money doing things it shouldn't, either.
It is mostly convenient for things like gas, or going to dinner, you don't have to worry about bringing enough cash for a trip, since it can be accessed from the card, or you can use an ATM when you get there.
I go on a 4-5 day trip, or longer, that is a lot of cash to be carrying around in my wallet. |
