You said "If communications are relevant to a discussion here, then they should be posted here."

Then you say:

So first you say "if it relates to the discussion, it should be posted". Then you say "If it relates to the discussion, but happened off the board, it should stay off the board".

You have no idea WHAT what in that email. It may be clarification on something that was intended for the recipient alone, and not something that violated board rules.

You have no idea whether it was or was not appropriate to bring information from that email onto the board.

Neither Req nor DR has posted anything referring to what may have been in the email, so they have not brought anything from "off the board" into the discussion.

You do not need to know everything that is communicated between parties. if they want you to know, i'm sure they'll find a way to include you.
