Thankfully I've never had a phase-to-phase shock, because those tend to be lethal.

I once got sparks from a 110vac source while tightening a bolt up a ladder - that terrified me.
Thankfully my spanner took most of the hit - I just got a through-back-of-hand jolt.

All of these were due to very poor maintenance, and have made me utterly paranoid about ensuring things are properly dead before going anywhere near them.

It hurt, and it took a while before I could really hold anything.

Multi-kV jolts from Van de Graff generators are fun though!
