That is being jerked around for no good reason, at a loss to everyone.
If you sign up for courses while on active duty, you do so knowing your situation. The military should work with you When Reasonably possible, but you shouldn't have expectations that they would jump through any hoops to accomodate you.
However, somone who isn't in the military has a reasonable expectation to be able to plan ahead, and there is no good reason to screw them over, when by waiting a known amount of time, they end up with a more valuable, and less disgruntled draftee. |
