I've taken electrical shocks to my hands during my work, and I can tell you from personal experience that it takes a very long time to get back to normal.

And that's just my hands - a shock to your body core would be worse.

Various studies on tasers specifically have shown that it can take between 5 and 15 minutes to recover full mobility after a taser shock.

So it is very likely that the subject would be unable to stand properly for several minutes, and therefore require assistance.

I hope those officers have already been suspended pending a full investigation, as someone who would subject a passive individual to multiple electrical shocks is not the kind of person that should ever be trusted with public safety.
