People revel in their stupidity. I can understand someone not knowing that ALL elements above, I think, iron (but don't quote me on that -- It's been a while -- I know it's the highest element possible produced in a star pre-supernova) come exclusively from supernova's, with the very limited exception of the artificial elements created in labs. However, there's no excuse for not knowing basics like the difference between a star and a planet.
