because while it appears that one can, in fact, do without child abuse, one apparently can't do without preparation for war. Yes, it's a horrid experience, and one that can't totally be prepared for, but I don't think that conscripts will be any less prepared for it than professional soldiers would be. Thus, your argument carries less weight with me than it might.

As far as whether or not they'd be sent into combat, they might or might not; I'm attempting to deal with the issue independently of whether they would be sent into combat.
