Help blocking annoying moving ads? by josie_beller 2006-11-20 10:22:33
I'm trying to read the Television Without Pity recaps of "Smallville" (yeah, sure, go on, laugh) and there are these extremely annoying moving ads from Altoids which are making me nauseous (yes, it's the ads, not the recaps). I won't post a clicky because TWOP isn't FYOSS, but I started with the pilot and they're on just about every page so far.

Any idea how to block them? I'm using Netscape 7.2 on Windows XP (yeah, sure, go on, laugh some more). I've put www.altoids.com into the blocked images section and cleared the cache, but the moving ads are still there. Help!
