Make sure the public folder is mail enabled. From Exchange System Manager MMC snap in 1. Locate the public folder in question 2. Right click it Choose ALL TASKS and select MAIL ENABLE Then give youself the ability to SEND AS the public folder. From Exchange System Manager: 1. Locate the folder, right click choose properties. 2. Click the Permissions Tab 3. Click the Directory Rights Button 4. Add your domain account in with Send As rights. 5. Wait 20 mins or so for proper replication. 6. Ensure you are entering the name of the public folder in the FROM field....
