one of those cheap portable single induction plates first and test the cooking wares one has already. It's also lightweight enough to carry it to any store and ask for water and a power outlet to try out any pot (wonder if they would do that).

With copper cookware I meant if anybody still got those from 'ancient times', like inherited or something. Would have some dents then already I guess. Today it's probably cheaper to collect copper coins and forge your own cookware than to buy one.
