What kitchen equipment and supplies are essential? by Phoon2006-11-20 01:18:14
Get a basic Faber ware set by joecrouse 2006-11-20 05:12:50
Should have 1 small sauce pan, 1 quartish sized pot, one 2 quart pot, a Gallon pot, a 6 inch, 9 inch and 12 inch frying pans. No teflon all stainless steel with big thick copper bottoms.
Then a half decent Knife set. Again for the price Faberware isnt bad stuff.

Then Get your dad a grill. I bet hes one of those guys who wont cook (thats womens work) but a grill, the man would be out there all winter and most of the summer. I saw a book in the book store for my Step father its for Grilling EVERYTHING. Grilled Pizza to grilled Vegetables. When I build my Brick grill this summer I will have one HECK of a barbeque. If he only knew how much "tail" a guy can get if he knows how to cook.
