The AR-50 I tried this spring was nothing (had something to do with the muzzle brake being the size of Rhode Island).

One of the guys got a sxs 12ga 'coach gun'.

1.25oz 3" slugs.... no recoil pad. You do the math.

Also, the pistol grip/m4 style stock on my own Mossy 590 transfers a lot more recoil to your hand than the standard rifle style stock.

Also, my chin hurts cause the scope on the FAL is so high.
