I've had Asus boards I've been happy with but that was for the AMD chipsets. Albeit not recently.

I have had mixed results with Gigabyte boards for AMD. Some good, some cruddy.

I have not used an Intel board, ever, so I'll refrain from comment.

Actually the boards I use most are DMI ones which have been quite reliable even if I'm not buying high end tech. Most recent board is over a year old and the only reason its predecessor died was the power supply killed it not a failure of the board itself.

I'll agree on MSI's. I've only had one that worked decently for any length of time.
