because the DS games have been coming out so regularly and they're so good. :-D (Contact is a fantastic RPG, Children of Mana is a fine dungeon crawler, Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime is some Zelda-inspired action adventure, and Elite Beat Agents... is something like you've never played before. And it's great.)
But still on the horizon on that system are Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, a new Kirby game, Final Fantasy III, Phoenix Wright 2, Yoshi's Island 2, and whatever else I'm forgetting.
And everything on the Wii. :-D
Bioshock didn't wow me as much in its video preview as it seemed to wow everyone else. Looked to me like System Shock 2 with a new setting and lots of shiny graphics. That's not a BAD thing, but I didn't see the revolution in gaming they keep promising.
Supreme Commander, on the other hand, does look like a game we've really never played before. I'm intrigued. :-D |
