possible router issue by dennismv 2006-11-05 14:13:55
On my LAN I have 2 systems. One is downloading large files, other is browsing. Problem: browsing system is slow.
Question: why is it slow ? It uses less bandwidth and it uses it only occasionally. I would suggest that it should have higher priority than the downloading system. Why is it not so and where may the problem lie ?

Sometimes when it's way too slow I unplug and reconnect the modem and the router. Then it's fast again for some time.
