I have seen little evidence that the majority of the violence is about getting Saddam released from prison and put back in power. In fact most of it appears to be Al-Qaeda looking for a new home. If this does anything for Saddams supporters, it will remove their motivation for fighting. Then they will have to figure out a new cause to fight for or go home.
