of the judges personal opinion. Federal government does have a death penalty it was re enacted in 1988 after a 30 some year absence. in 1997 (last year I could come up with an artical referanceing) 12 people were currently waiting to die in the federal system. Timmy Mcviegh was the first to die by federal mandate in a LOOOOOONG time.
