permanant jury with a permanant judge with review of all facts in the case against the defendent and maybe special consideration for mental illness not alluded to in the criminal proceedings. Give the person all the help they wanted. Then let a jury decide weather they are worth being put to work in a press gang for a good long time or eliminated entirely. and if a jury cant call it let a good sober judge call it.

incidentaly a person gets upwards of 5 apeals from the local courts on up to the state supreme court. Getting found not guilty at any juncture allows you to escape death and gets you out of jail. thats the rule right now. So if 60 differant people and 5 judges think that you are guilty and deserve to die I would have to agree with them.
