... to weigh *more* often? If you happen to be retaining a lot of water when you go for your weekly weigh-in, you're going to assume you weigh more than you actually do.
Personally, I weigh myself about once per day, sometimes twice. Typically, it's immediately after I wake up and urinate, so I have about the same amount of water in my body each time. I also weigh myself wearing only tightie whities, so clothing weight is always the same.
Even with this, varying water weight isn't a problem... I use a weighted average, so the fluctuations have only a small effect on my actual weight. |
