                    Ah. by krikkert 2006-11-05 05:53:13
So you pride yourself on your spine moreso than your brain, I take it. I believe there's a quote for that.

You're saying that you hate criminals. Hate yourself much? After all, apparently you're guilty of a traffic violation. You also hate the 'spineless society where people are coddled until death'. Funny how that spineless society appears to be working in Europe, and we've made quite the success of it as well. Who's got the higher crime rates?

As BorgKing has mentioned, this is something we do in our 'spineless societies' on the other side of the pond -- we let criminals, especially first-time offenders, work their time off. Community service. This is probably due to a lack of focus on revenge, and more of a focus on rehabilitation.

However, some people can not be rehabilitated. Some might like to say and think everyone can, but I'm a realist. I don't think so. Due to Ravenlock's showings of abysmal track records, however, I cannot support a death penalty where so many people are proven not guilty.

You also didn't answer one of my questions -- do you really think the US government would lighten taxes? I don't.
