I am tired of paying upwards of 40k a year to house 1 single prisoner in the lap of luxury. The ones that dont deserve to ever be let out FRY EM.
In Maryland you get cable tv in the communal rooms and some states you get cable access in EVERY room.
A free education up to graduate level free medical free dental free food and you dont have to do a thing for it but get caught.
I WISH i had the opportunities criminals get. 40 thousand times 5.2 million people behind bars here in the US. Thats close to 40 billion dollars wasted every year. Start eliminateing people that NEED to be eliminated.
That guy from Enron that Skilling fellow hes going to a minimum security country club costing the US tax payer something like 50k dollars a year for the next 24 years. Why dont we take some of his assets that were EBEZZELED and use them to pay for his stay!
And its not like we can put together press gangs and use this waste of humanity as outside labor building highways and bridges and things we as a nation NEED. Oh no you got to pay them the prevailing wage if they work outside the prison. (I was told this by a congres critter from my S'hole of a state when I asked him why dont we have this human garbage out fixing some of the Crappiest parts of the city)
Oh its In humane to put them in a PINK jumpsuit with a shock collar and put a broom in thier hand and make them sweep the garbage off the side walk and make them scrub the sides of buildings and fix the decaying rowhomes that thier vision of comerce has destroyed. Oh they have to be PAID as well as paid for.
SCREW EM! WOrk em 12 hours a day and 6 days a week THEN MAYBE think about letting them out in 10 or 15 years after they have learned a trade and MAYBE learned thier lesson. PRISON AND JAIL ARE PUNISHMENTS NOT F#$@ING VACATIONS! Around here If you have done time its considered cool and are looked up to. Not shunned and condemed lik you should be.
Theres one reporter this Dan Rodericks who was actively trying to help get drug dealers jobs.
What about me I bust my Arse every day and I gotta sweat bullets to get a job If I am out of work. here he is out trying to find people work who Dont deserve half of what they get.
