Background: She wasn't doing anything on her computer except reading e-mail because her Norton's AV had expired and she didn't want to go and buy another one (she's not tech savi enough to renew her license on the web). I gave her directions to install AVAST! AV along with several exchanges on how to download, and the fact that "save to disk" does not mean floppy disk.
Now installed she took a few days to go to New York (from Toronto) with some of her friends.
Today I get a debriefing on her trip to New York, and the as an aside I get this gem;
"Over the past week or so, I've been having an on-line relationship with a nice man who contacts me at least once a day telling me that my Avast have been updated."
Ah I think I should just let it go. |
