There's a lot of great music coming from Belgium. by ttlogic 2006-10-30 01:42:31
Especially in the somewhat "alternative" genres. And not only limited to dEUS and it's various offspring (but Vive la fête is great party music!). I immediately fell in love with the debut CD of Mintzkov Luna; DAAU (Die Anarchistische Abend Unterhaltung) has made some great stuff (haven't heard too much about them lately though), and I still can't believe I recently missed an opportunity to be on the guest list for a performance of Luc de Vos, who IMHO has some of the best and most poetic lyrics in Dutch, rivaled only by our very own Spinvis (not an unknown artist in Belgium either, I heard).

Vaya con Dios I don't really like, but to each his own :)
