Internet security question by bimkins2006-10-26 22:23:51
erm... why is port 139 being forwarded? by Freakazoid 2006-10-26 22:46:45
that's a very very extremely bad thing to forward and expose to the internet
step one would be to turn of UPnP on the thing, that's also a very bad thing. (it's basically automatic port forwarding, never a good thing as a app can poke a hole in the NAT without you knowing)
step two would be to remove all traces of anything symantec/norton from the system. It's junk, plain and simple. Avast or AVG for AV and something like Kerio or Sygate for a personal firewall will work tons better (and has the added benefit of being free)
