According to the political compass I'm:
Economic Left/Right: -4.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.26

Which would put me as your version of socialist, plus your version of liberal, at the same time.

According to them, Hitler was moderate on the left-right, and very authoratarian. He was more left-wing than the current British labour party, which explains why the American republicans who are the only people I have to talk to at work consider him left-wing.

Rich people do tend to be more authoritarian than poor, they have the authority. Funny that.
