Dispose if it. If you are just wanting a nice regulated bench supply source for something, one that you can regulate down easily to 12 or 5 or whatever voltage for a project or breadboard, muck about with it, likely a popped capacitor or a regulator chip in there. (Check the diodes, too, just for completeness.)
