I work 8 hours in a shift. I take a 5 minute (or so) smoke break about once an hour. The one before work and after work don't count, so that's 35 minutes (or so) of smoke breaks. I don't take my two 15 minute breaks or half hour lunch. Them that do are getting an hour of paid nonwork. I'm getting 35 minutes of paid nonwork. Seems perfectly fair to me.
