to get him away from smoking. I stopped smoking in January because I couldn't go up the steps in our eight story house anymore without pauses. Now I can do that again in a very fast pace, nearly running up. In this summer I did long bicycle rides again. So my lungs must have got better a lot in this short time. And I have smoked since I have been sixteen, sometimes more sometime less.
And the x-rays show, the lungs are not clean now, but they are cleaner than same time last year, and they will be clean same time next year.
