...but you'd use that as an excuse for your current wallowing. So be yourself, but be a reasonably well-adjusted self. Peace_Man spoke true when he was saying that a relationship is about give and take... and in deciding whether to pursue something with you, people do consider what you have to OFFER. They have to have a reasonably decent chance of liking your company.
Yes, you have to put your best foot forward. That is NOT, the same, however, as pretending to be someone you are not. |
