to be looking for. A man who is stupid enough that they think they can trust him, or possibly control him.

You obviously don't fit into that category. And I hope you will never try to pretend that you do - you won't be doing yourself any favours.

Let me tell you one thing that helped me quite a bit. It was a book. First published back in 1936, it was immensely popular then, and no less useful now. It's called How to Win Friends and Influence People, by Dale Carnegie. And it does explain how to look good to other people without being born with movie star looks.

If you are willing to put a bit of effort into it, you, too, can be popular. If you expect to be popular just by your good looks - never having to open your mouth or do anything other than just show up - this book won't help you. Actually, nothing will. Probably not even lots of plastic surgery.
