I don't remember the exact episode, though I know it's included in the one of the two Spin City "Michael J. Fox - His All-Time Favorites, vol. 1/2" DVD boxes (see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spin_City).

I'm quite sure that Carter does the same trick like Cobb here: IIRC Carter uses hazelnut flavour to spice the coffee. Stuart comes in like Sid here, tries the brew, finds out who did it - and says something like: "Omygosh, now he's even made the coffee gay ..."

... Or is my mind playing tricks with me? (Confessing lover of vanilla flavoured coffee. :) )
