My wife and I bought our house a few months back with a whopping $73 due at closing, we financed everything including the closing costs. Not an 80/20 though just a standard 30 yr fixed for 100% @ 6.7. Of course the fact that we were buying a place that was only about 40% more than our combined income might have helped in securing those terms. When we started looking I worked out how much house we could afford and still have the mortgage payment + taxes come out to a couple hundred more than what we were currently paying in rent; any house over that price wasn't even considered. I feel kind of bad for our agent, he worked his butt off for his commission given the giant list of guidelines we gave him. - DW
