Take the video card out & clean the contacts so all the pins are nice & clean.
Re-install it, making sure it's nice & snug in the slot & screwed down tightly to the chassis so it doesn't move.
If there is anything on the pins causing a flaky connection, then that can cause glitching (not just in the game, but in general), but this is VERY unlikely, since unless you're constantly letting the inside of the case grow Dust Puppy sized balls of gunk, the contacts should be relatively clean...
