Computer gaming technical question: by BaruMonkey 2006-09-25 18:47:10
Some of the more graphically-intensive computer games I (try to) play are being very choppy, especially when playing cutscenes. The most annoying thing is when the video portion of the cutscene goes along *relatively* smoothly, while the audio is choopy as all get out. Video can be followed, but intterrupted / out-of-sync audio kills it.

Does anyone know what the most likely suspect is in this case? I'll be testing your suggestions with one game (Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, just bought it today). My computer does meet the System Requirements; I have the box right here.
