  OK, first the 4 basic kinematic equations by Talchas 2006-09-25 15:57:31

(via my physics teacher's wall poster)

Where v is velocity, d is displacement, a is acceleration, and t is time. Subscript f is final, subscript i is initial.
1. d=vt
2. vf=vi+at
3. d = vit+.5at2
4. vf2 = vi2+2ad
(The equations for your Q to come up shortly)
