I'm not sure what the worth of various Federal lands would be, especially since the states would get a chance to be more assertive about who the buyers could be and how the land or interests could be used.

As far as (3): Overturning sixty years of rulings would be tremendously difficult - it would bear on everything from abortion to public education to tort reform to ... almost anything imaginable.

(4). What's your basis for this? I don't see *anything* in the Constitution which might allow for recall of legislators.

(5) I'm not sure how "being aware of what [one's] surroundings have taught" is sufficient to allow people to vote for moral candidates.

I'd certainly agree that (6) and (7) are results of a mindset; I just don't know that this mindset can be changed, or even explicitly taught.
