I got a Yamaha digital piano last year	by run.dll	2006-09-25 10:28:08
and I'm having a ball with it. The sound is good (I'm a violinist, so don't know what I'm talking about here :) I use Sennheiser sound cancelling earphones and hammer away mercilessly. They can't hear me and I can't hear them. BTW, the feel of the keyboard is good, according to the piano playing daughter of a friend, who's been playing for 8 years. You can always upgrade later if the kids get serious. Some teachers apparently object, however. The above mentioned daughter's teacher, for one.
