is a bit gentle for me, for some reason I always put in too much milk. It's difficult to over-milk an Assam; the flavor is a bit more powerful.

I do agree with you about Lapsang Souchong (I've seen both spellings); it's an infrequent luxury.

I wish we could get Barry's outside of Irish import specialty shops. Barry's Gold Blend is good.

We have *very* hard water. Even our three-stage purifier can't get rid of all the minerals (mainly iron, guessing from the reddish stains around the drain). But it's enough that you don't really taste it over the tea. Unless you get a really nasty tea like Lipton's.

Never heard of (or saw) Marsala.
