Assam is nice, but I think Darjeeling has a better aroma. Lapsang Souchang is nice once in a while, but the smoked flavor can cloy if done too often.

For work when I need just a pick-up, it's PG Tips, or one of the other black as tar brooke-bond teas. Their Scottish Blend isn't too bad, if you don't try to brew it in hard water.

I have some Marsala that an Indian friend of mine brought back from a trip home. It is very pleasant if done as it is supposed to be, with lots of milk and sugar and a bit of cardamom.
