is called the hadj , spellings vary, and is a pita vendor calls himself "haci baba" while the local "mediterraneans" pronounce that as hadj baba, it's a title of honour among muslims at least (something kin to "the old wise one" , I've ben told that the chinese say something like LAO for that) To use this as a nick, he need not be either muslim or christian, though. It's a fine sounding nick.
