then everyone should carry their own pocket Nuke because someone in the world has one?
Nothing personal, :) I am saying this because a Domino theory style argument Is too much fun to knock over :)
Also, people seem to forget that there are LOTS of countries other than "The Americans" that have nuclear armaments... like Russia, England, France, china, india, Pakistan, Possibly Israel, North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia...
Many other countries have had or are disarming their nuclear devices. I think many countries will eventually disarm most if not all of their nukes just because they are not useful in todays world (Cold War era anyone?) and they cost a LOT to upkeep. Think of, or even look up, how many Nukes have been disabled in the U.S. and Russa alone in the last 20 years....I hope it keeps going that way too. |
