Hey, I need a little letter diplomacy advice by MikeCDN2006-09-18 10:10:05
okay how about this by MikeCDN 2006-09-18 12:22:04
Best I can do I think
Supplying my vender information would not be good for my business. It took a lot of investigation and negotiating to come up with the prices I have gotten from the Vender. If I was to have you purchase these items, it would negate my legwork and you would probably end up with a higher price. Due to the scope of this project the actual server software is not marked up in any way, I gave *President* the price that I was quoted. However revealing my vender would be irresponsible for me to do, *company* wouldn't reveal its vendor to its clients either.

If another arrangement is desired, we could discuss it for future projects, but there would have to be some form of reparation for all the legwork, and the risk to my interests.

As for the invoices, it has been 12 days. This is a short time, and I am not complaining about the lack of response. I apologize for the delay in getting them out as well. Figuring out accounting software while working around several projects competing for my time, is not an easy thing. However you must understand that $9000 is a fair amount of money while I'm still trying to become established. To use a clichéd metaphor, I can't afford to put all my eggs in one basket, when I have other things I could be working on.
