As usual, I will not touch the power switch on the telly tonight (or most any other night, frankly don't know quite why the confounded thing is allowed to take up space in the living room).

I'm reading Seymours "Farming for Self-Sufficiency: Independence on a Five-Acre Farm" again, and looking into stump-removal gadgetry ca. 1700-1900 (pre-tractor). I need a quick way to yank medium-sized stumps that doesn't require blasting. The neighbours are getting nervous....
